Nickelsville, South Seattle's own shantytown named provocatively after Mayor Nickels was shutdown today (Friday, 9/26) at about 1pm. Tent cities like this don't bother me, it sticks in my craw when cities shut these things down. This is not the time for Seattle to evict homeless. WaMu just crashed for Christ's sake.
